Stone Holder with Base

This is my favorite stone holder. It is larger than most other stone holders and can fit stones both with and without bases. This version comes with a large plastic base that is designed to keep the water and swarf from sharpening from spreading all over your counter top. Also, it comes with two additional pieces that give a little bit more stone height and knuckle clearance. The additional pieces also allow for you to mount your stone at a slight angle, just like traditional knife sharpeners do in Japan. We hope you like this as much as we do.
The stone holder can exhibit a strong rubber smell in the beginning, but this does go away with some time.  Washing can also help.
