Our relatively new Gesshin Uraku VG1 series represents an improvement over the old and discontinued AUS-10 series. They are overall thinner, more consistent in their cross-sectional geometry, and retain the same, fine fit-and-finish. The performance-oriented improvements make this a very compelling package, making it a more affordable and tougher alternative to the Gesshin Ginga series.
The saya has been laser-engraved with an abstraction of a topographical map and shows off the incredible details that we are capable of achieving with the laser and the natural patterns and figuring of the wood.
