Oroshigane for Condiments

These handheld graters are designed to grate, mince, and puree foods like garlic, ginger, daikon, etc. They are made of a solid piece of copper and coated in tin and the tines are gouged by hand through the use of special tools. To collect the food from the surface, the tines can be brushed with a hake and then rinsed with warm water and soap. Pat or air dry. Do not put in the dishwasher. The exposed copper will begin to oxidize with normal use.
