Zakuri 165mm Blue Super Kurouchi Tosagata Bocho

  • Based on a recommendation from one of our customers, we have decided to bring you the Tosagata bocho from Zakuri. Zakuri is based in the Tosa region and the Tosagata Bocho is a unique Tosa based knife. It is very much like a thin and nimble santoku. At 165mm this knife is a great size for home cooks or for professional cooks as a utility or line knife. The Blue Super in the knife will take very good edge and has amazing edge holding capabilities. As with most carbon knives, this one sharpens very easily too. The kurouchi finish on this knife helps prevent rust, but this knife should still be cleaned and dried before after use. The D-shaped handle on this knife is made of walnut and it has a plastic ferrule.
