Instagram Special - Kochi 180mm Kurouchi Stainless Clad Carbon Wa-Petty

  • The 180mm petty is a bit of an anomaly. Too long for paring tasks, too short for portioning, it was the antithesis of the "Goldilocks." Even though we couldn't wrap our heads around the idea of them, they have always been super popular, so we started asking around. Why do you like them? IT'S THE PERFECT LINE KNIFE. Out of the way, good for ´a la minute prep, garnishes, cutting the crust off of sangwishes, and slicing steaks before plating.

The saya for this knife has a wonderfully detailed image of a monkey done in the style of tradtional Thai art from the Dvaravati period by Aroonask Thiranuth.
