There is an unspoken code of preservation of artwork amongst street artists. This respect is given to the artists simply by giving ample time for the casual passerby to enjoy its colorful existence on various surfaces. This ritual has persevered and dominated the streets since the 1970's.
These sticker designs are a culmination of years of studying the graffiti culture of Los Angeles throughout the decades. While some see graffiti art as a nuisance, I see it as a celebration of culture through color and design. The vibrant colors and 3D images can be found throughout the city, often in hidden and understated spaces.
