This leather sheath will fit knives up to 105mm long and 32mm tall. These sturdy-built sheaths by our friends at Artisan Revere are made in the USA from thick 10oz English Bridle leather. The blade side is thicker than the spine side, unlike wooden sayas, but fit snugly and comfortably around knives without damaging the blade face, and is roomy enough to fit a variety of different profiles and heights. This thicker area helps protect the edge of the knife and stops the knife from being able to cut through the leather sheath. There is an indent at the entrance for the blade where the handle should go.
These cork-lined kydex edge guards are made here in LA by RDG. They maintain a thin profile while fitting a wide variety of shapes. Because they are so thin, they don't add as much to the bulk of a knife roll. The cork keeps the fit tight while minimizing scratching (though soft steels can develop light scratching if grit gets inside the edge guard.
