Tenugui- Meisho Edo Hakkei: Ohashi Atake no Yudachi

Meisho Edo Hakkei (One Hundred Famous View of Edo)  is a seriesof ukiyo-e prints begun and largely completed by the Japanese artist Hiroshige (1797–1858). The design of this tenugui is a copy of the Ohashi Atake no Yudachi in this series, depicting an evening shower over the Ohashi, well-known large bridge in Tokyo.  This design by HIroshige is particularly popular worldwide.
