Zakuri 165mm Blue #1 Nakiri

The Zakuri 165mm Blue #1 Nakiri is a great example of what a nakiri should be like. Light and thin, with a comfortable handle. Blue #1 is a great steel for knives. It has a very high carbon content, great ability to get sharp, and very good edge retention. Not too many knife makers use Blue #1 because it can be difficult to forge. The 165mm length is a good size nakiri for both home cooks and pros alike. This knife polished on both sides and is not stainless, so it will patina with use. If not cared for properly, it may rust.
