Gesshin Ginga

Gesshin Ginga knives are custom made for Japanese Knife Imports. Currently, we have 2 steel choices- Swedish stainless (about 60-61hrc) and white #2 (also about 60-61hrc). We have them in both western and Japanese style handles (though if there’s something you want, but don’t see, just ask). These knives are very thin, have great grinds, exceptional fit and finish (all of the spines and choils are rounded and polished), and they all come with sayas. From a performance standpoint, these knives are way up there, yet they aren’t so thin or fragile that they compromise durability. We also do special projects in this series from time to time.
